We want your wedding day to be calm and fun, not rushed.
With this in mind we give you the Barn the day before 10am to 4pm to decorate and rehearse.
Once things are in place you can relax in the knowledge that all is set.
The most important part of your day is the marriage or Civil Ceremony.
We are licensed inside and outside.
Alternatively Aldington Church is 5 mins drive away and is an enchanting country Church.
Celebrants are also popular giving you the freedom to have a more personal service.
What ever you choose we will Book this for you and help you organise.
If you are thinking of a Civil Ceremony then Jack's Barn comes into its own. The vaulted oak roof offers a very special atmosphere and the threshing porch with its huge double oak doors open completely outwards offering you a choice of your ceremony being held inside or outside.
Jack's Barn has a beautiful courtyard, a meadow and walled garden's provide you with wonderful backdrops for all your photos.
The views to the Channel, Romney Marsh and Sussex are truly breathtaking and on a clear day we have views to France.

FLOWERS & DECORATION
Some of you may wish to bring in a florist to help you decorate and others like to do it themselves. Whatever route you take, Jack's Barn is a great canvas and can be adapted to suit a huge variety of styles. The Barn offer lots of hanging space and alcoves that look fabulous with lanterns or wreaths and bunting. We love Jack's Barn and cannot allow live candles, but do encourage the battery candles and small sparkling lights.
MUSIC & DANCING
Everyone loves a bit of dancing and we are very happy for you to book one of our recommended disco's or you are welcome to book a band, or bring your own music.
Whatever form of evening entertainment you decide on, you will be pleased to know that the dance floor is in the main Barn, not consigned to anther room away for the reception. The dance floor offers plenty of space without moving tables and chairs out to make room, which means there are plenty of places for guests to sit and rest their dancing feet!
If you thinking of inviting evening guests please do, no extra charges from us!!
GUEST NUMBERS
The Barn can hold up to 100 guests for a sit down reception, with additional 50 evening guests, max capacity 150.
TABLE LAYOUT & LINEN
Jack's Barn comes with 10 round tables seating up to 10 guests per table and 100 chairs.
We also supply a few extra trestle tables and old farmhouse tables.
If you wish to have another type of seating plan or need to have alternative or extra tables, different chairs etc these can be hired for you for an additional cost.
Most caterers will provide table linen for you, but if this is not the case we can hire these for you at an additional cost.
The local hire companies offer different colours’ and styles.
